Our flight was scheduled to leave at 9:00 AM, and the FBO (Fixed Base Operator) advised us to arrive around 8:40 AM. We drove our rental car planeside, and the crew swiftly packed our luggage onto the aircraft while we took photos in front of the plane with our pets. Although I have been on countless private jet planes in the past three years, I still felt an overwhelming sense of excitement to capture my experience flying in style.

We flew on a mixed manifest flight with two other families. One was a returning Pet Jets flyer who had moved to Maui last summer with her pets and family—she utilized Pet Jets due to her pup being a snub nose breed. The other family was flying on a private jet for the very first time in order to keep their elderly dog out of cargo. We were all aiming to move later in the summer of 2025. But when the opportunity to fly in May presented itself, we all shifted our plans to make it work.

During the flight, all of the pets and human flyers enjoyed a comfortable amount of space. The cabin was spacious, allowing all of us and our pets to stretch out and enjoy the ride. It made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, where everyone—pets and humans alike—could unwind and settle in without feeling cramped. We had a flight attendant who even made me an island inspired cocktail to enjoy as we flew over the Pacific.
