I made my first connection with Pet Jets in 2022 when I became a Pet Jets Travel Club Member myself. I was searching Google and social media frantically looking for a way to transport my dogs from Ohio to Oahu without putting them in cargo. My husband received military orders for Oahu in May of 2022. In just a short two months - we sold our home, I quit my teaching job, and we packed everything to move to Hawaii! As someone who has experienced a major overseas move - I can identify with and relate to our clients who are taking on the large life change of moving. I drove across the country from Ohio to San Diego where I joined a flight share put together by our CEO, Honey Jimenez Schmidt in August of 2022. The flight was a dream come through - my pups flew beside me to Hawaii in the cabin of a private jet.

Before working alongside Honey here at Made To Jetset Inc. and Pet Jets - I worked as a High School English Teacher back in Ohio. I also played and coached college softball at Ohio Christian University. I started my own business, Level Up Softball in 2016 - I gave softball pitching lessons to beginners and even college players. Level Up Softball was where I first dove into social media marketing and content creation.

In college, I worked for Northtowne Heating & Cooling where I was responsible for accounts payable and receivable. At 19 years old, I was introduced to the business world.

My passion for Pet Jets is what led me to changing my career path from teaching to marketing. I started Megan Newton LLC in February of 2023 - through my business I create all of the Made To Jetset Inc. and Pet Jets marketing campaigns and social media content. Honey and I work alongside each other every single day to promote the Made To Jetset Inc. and Pet Jets brand. We build flight shares, connect with vendors, and work one on one with our clients to find solutions to their moving/travel projects with and without pets.

I have a passion for running my own business and for promoting Made To Jetset Inc. and Pet Jets, but my #1 focus is on my family as a mother and a wife. I have been married to my husband, Elliott since 2019. We welcomed our first son - Walker into the world in October 2023. I also love my two Corgis, Gizmo and Stormy. Gizmo and Stormy started my passion for pet travel.
